Optimist Club of Stoney Creek

The Optimist Club of Stoney Creek is a community service organization dedicated to "Bringing out the best in youth, in our communities and in ourselves". We have been supporting youth in Stoney Creek since 1954, more than 60 years! Optimist clubs are members of the worldwide Optimist International service organization dedicated to serving the youth of their communities.

The purpose of the Optimist Club of Stoney Creek is to develop “Optimism” as a philosophy of life and to aid and encourage the youth of our community. One of the many ways we support this is through the rental of our facility

The Optimist Club of Stoney Creek received its charter on May 1, 1954. We have several fund raising projects during the year, including a booth at the Winona Peach Festival. These projects help us support local youth through the Stoney Creek Little League Baseball program, Central Ontario Leadership Seminars (COLS), the Orchard Park Robotics ClubThe Equestrian Association for the Disabled, the Stoney Creek Food Bank, and Food4Kids, just to name a few.

Are you in good standing in the community, have integrity and a heart for serving youth? Our members include people from every aspect of our community: business, civil service, social, educational, cultural, retirees and even young people. Come join us! We’d love to meet you as our guest at one of our Dinner Meetings, held monthly (except July and August).
